Hi everyone,

I'd like to say that I'm a proud new owner of a blue and gold macaw, named Morgan. She (yes, she's been genetically identified as having two X chomosomes ) is 20 years old, and I believe we're the third owners of her. The owners before have two other parrots, and she requires more attention than they were able to give her.
She's a sweetheart, truly. Definitely a stubborn minded girl, that's for sure, but a gentle beauty.

I'm looking forward to the joy she can add to our home.

Welcome to the forums.... two X chromosomes huh? You're in trouble then. Birds have neither X nor Y chromosomes, they have W and Z. If she is in fact a she then she has a W and a Z.
