Guacamole

Hi
My name is Laurie. Guacamole, a 29 year old Yellow Nape and her boxer sister Gracie came to live with me about a year ago. It's been years since I had birds and am really enjoying her company. I had a Yellow Nape, an African Grey and cockatiels. Guacamole is a great bird. She talks, whistles and sings opera. I'm trying to teach her new words, but it's going very slowly. I'm not sure if it's possible for her to learn new words at this point. My Dad had made a stand for her that I keep on my desk. She loves sitting here while I work. She has been wearing a collar and a disk for the past 6 weeks now as she has been chewing at her feet. I posted some questions in the Amazon forum. If anybody has any suggestions for us, they would be truly appreciated! I look forward to being involved here. Laurie
