Hi,

I have admired Conures (particularly Sun Conures) for years and have decided that it was time to stop delaying the inevitable, so I just wanted to ensure I had the knowledge and the tools to best provide a happy and healthy home as well as trying to find breeders (Melbourne, Victoria) that were reputable... and through my research, I came across this forum.

I was drawn to this community as it looks like a wonderful resource for any parrot owner looking to share their experiences as they progress through their journey at whatever stage that may be so I wanted to say hello and introduce myself

I am 29, working as a project manager from home which ensures I have ample time to devote to an inquisitive and playful new addition to the house. I have a passion for reading, music (mostly stuff way before my time), running, scotch, cooking and as a function of that...restaurants, my friends and family as well as...obviously, parrots

My previous experience has been limited to budgerigars but I am very excited, if not a little apprehensive about beginning a new journey.

Welcome! I work from home too and Buddy is great company to have. He's quiet for the most part if he can see me and my team members who are remote too know Buddy well because if I put a call on speaker, he has to join in on the conversation. Good luck on finding your new Buddy and keep us posted.
