Home equity loan approved doing driveway and deck. Can you send aviary off your back porch ideas or pictures?

So I got a line of credit on a home equity loan on my house which I bought during a slump and now my house has basically doubled in value. (I now know why Millennials and Gen Z are like WTF?) Yes you were screwed, and I was very lucky at the right time to buy the home in the slump. The drive way being undercut filled and completely repaved. Back deck being repaired.

I live in a split level and out the bottom level (where FIDS live) doors I have like a brick patio. Off that it might be nice to have an enclosed cat proof, snake proof, bug proof little aviary. A Small enclosure that say May through october-ish I could allow the birds a little sunlight and chatting with nature. That might be a bad Idea since I own a Sun Conure. Would also allow me to open during thunderstorms (which I love) and not get any rain blown in. Would also have a second barrier if door opened and bird accidently flew out main door.

"IF" you have something like that I'd like to see a picture for Ideas. Proven examples. Otherwise you can disregard this post. I'm just looking for design ideas or "I tried, DON'T BUILD IT LIKE THIS" type comments.

Good for you. Make a list of what you want. A list of what you need. Merge the two and take your time planning. Planning is where you can change your mind as many times as you want.

I myself failed at building an outdoor aviary. I tried to use stainless steel chicken wire with a tight weave, and plexiglass. I needed stronger material due to the larger beaks I’m dealing with. I just couldn’t stabilize it well. I’ll probably try again next year.
