This is silly talk. Chicks, like children, leave their parents when they are mature.
Expecting them to get along like a big happy family is unrealistic. I know. I have 2 adult offspring from my first pair.
Keeping every chick from a breeding hen could easily overwhelm you.
I do think this discussion is moot, though, because I don't think your male knows he is a bird, from how you have described him.
