How long is the molting period?

Our little guy has been molting for the past few months. How long does this usually last?

mine started about feb, new feathers coming in, an she is still all pinny lol so a while i guess

I was told to expect to wait 3-4 months, but Bob seems to be getting new feathers on his head now.
