So I saw this on another forum…
Everyone will say their number of bird/s , their name/s and photos
Example with imaginary pineapple and grape
1 - Squiggles
(photo of him would be here)
3 - pineapple and grape
(photo of them here)
and so on
Lets see how long this can go for - I encourage everyone to make an entry, not only to find the number of birds, but to get to know everyone!
My official entry:
1 - Squiggles

I hope you realize that even the tamest budgie won't let you do that! I could only cuddle and scritch Rocky when she was less than six weeks old and she's super tame and bonded to me.105! Here be my baby boy Rico!View attachment 50127
SO. MANY. BIRDS.So 8 from Donna making it 104.
And 10 from me, making it 114!
First, Tom the pineapple GCC
Second, Tony, the Quaker
Third, Romeo, the cockatiel.
Fourth, Sheer Khan, Ryuks mate
Fifth, Ryuk, the last cockatiel, who’s also pied.
Sixth, Striga, a blue clear wing budgie.
Seventh, Grim, a mauve (or violet?) budgie.
Eighth, Billy, a budgie.
Ninth, Hedwig, the only girl budgie.
And tenth! Milly the house sparrow
Did you ever notice how "flaky" Rico's beak is ? It's probably nothing but there's been discussion in another thread about a Sun Conure that recently fractured his beak and other members discussed the flakiness of his beak.105! Here be my baby boy Rico!View attachment 50127
Yeah it’s always been that way though so I’m not worried about it.Did you ever notice how "flaky" Rico's beak is ? It's probably nothing but there's been discussion in another thread about a Sun Conure that recently fractured his beak and other members discussed the flakiness of his beak.
I see it frequent in some budgies' beaks, too. I was wondering if it was something I should worry about but if the vet says okay I believe it too.Yeah it’s always been that way though so I’m not worried about it.
He has never flown into a window hard (has jumped into one and fell but is was about a 2 foot leap and a 5’4” drop and that’s how he broke his leg) ever. He has had his bumps but he has always been fine.
Rico’s vet even noticed his beak and informed me it was normal and it’s just from beak growth. I saw it in my budgies as well but not as much as Rico’s. I do see it in other cockatiels as well.
So honestly, I’m not worried since it’s fairly normal from what I have seen in tiels.
