I think Fang deserves special mention this month. He has been on meds for his heart arrhythmia for over six years now, and I thought he'd hate me for dosing him up every day but he's been SO good about it all this time. He's also accepted (some more graciously than others it must be said!) every new arrival in my flock in the 13 years that I've had him, and still loves to sing and dance and perform his show tunes. And all of that makes him a champion in my book.

Male tiels like Fang are unmatched in the parrot world for their tune whistling! My Charlie years ago loved to whistle tunes too and would create his own by combining one tune with another. He was always slightly off key which just added to the charm.

They really are, @DonnaBudgie! Better yet is when Fang and Jem do their mash-up of the "Banana Splits" theme combined with "Pop Goes The Weasel" almost perfectly synchronized with each other, but i will NEVER be lucky enough get that on video!
