For my 7 week old Green Wing Macaw how many servings of formula should he get per day?
I also have a 8 week green wing & the breeder told me 40 cc 3x a day .I know it's not 40 cc. I've been doing 90 cc's 3x a day . But now I wonder if i
Should be handfeeding 4x daily. The breeders here in Florida all give the birds to the people at 3 to 4weeks of age to hand feed..

Bad practices shouldn't be supported, and you shouldn't buy from breeders like that, but you already have the bird, so let's just go from there.

Do you have handfeeding experience?

Hello @Plady, welcome to the Forums though I’m so sorry you have been placed in this very difficult position by what would appear to be a rather unethical breeder.

I saw your post under our "So You Bought An Unweaned Baby" thread, so I hope you found some helpful information there.

Are you able to contact the breeder of this baby for any advice or support? If they are unwilling to help you, may I suggest contacting an avian vet for help in this situation? I am not sure exactly where you are located, but the following link will help you to locate an avian specialist vet if you are not already acquainted with one….

If there isn't one close by, then perhaps you can contact one by phone or internet, as some avian vets provide consults by these methods too.

Wishing you and your little one all the very best! πŸ™

Seconding this. I STRONGLY recommend getting help with these 2 babies (I think you have 2?).
