How time flies!

Sorry for the absence again guys! haha

You remember baby Cypher?



Well Fargo was sitting at the window the other day, really wanting to get out, and i couldn't understand why, until i looked out and saw Cypher sitting there!

So i put Fargo's harness on, and took him out.. and Fargo was so excited! He LOVED Cypher when he was inside, and Cypher loved him..

It is crazy how the time flies.. Cypher used to be the same size as Fargo, and now he is massive hahaha

I sat with Cypher with his head in my lap, giving him cuddles, and Fargo on my knee for a while, Fargo kept trying to preen him!

For those of you who can't remember, Cypher is a maremma.. So he protects/guards his herd/flock.. Maremmas are used to protect chickens! So there is absolutely no aggression towards Fargo, because he sees him as a pack member...



and then Fargo screamed.. You can see how Cypher felt about that

Aww, Cyper looked like a stuffed animal as a baby! He's still cute! Is he full grown now?

So Maremmas were bred to guard people's chickens? They could have just been a small dog haha. That's an ideal dog breed to have around pet birds So cute to see Fargo and Cypher interact

The day i got him, someone asked if he was a toy poodle hahaha

He isn't quite fully grown yet! He was born September 8th..

So he has to fill out and get chunkier now, he is at his long faced lanky kinda stage at the moment


HE'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE! hahaha

It is very sweet to see how they remember each other, and for Fargo to have a friend considering he is an only bird!

He could be friends with the horses, but most of them are scared of him haha

Wow Tab, that is VERY cool that Cypher is a Maremma, I think You'll have to get Cypher a SADDLE so Fargo can now go riding with you

I might be able to get a saddle that small

I would love to take Fargo riding with me, but my poor horse is scared of him, so i don't think that will ever happen

At the end of the year, there are riding shows to wear fancy costumes.. Would be cool to dress like a pirate and have Fargo in the ride.. Doing a ride to a pirate song

I actually went to seaworld and swam with the dolphins about 2 years ago.. and the trainer couldn't believe this dolphin.. He was meant to swim around everyone and do a loop so everyone could pat him?

And he just kept swimming and rubbing against me and the trainer was just like- I am not making him do this




I don't really have that many animals though, just 3 horses, 1 bird and 1 dog.. Not too many..

Will probably get another possum/wallaby soon!
Will ask the wildlife people after i have finished my exams.. Probably not a good idea getting one leading up to exams or i would never sleep


I did have a cat, who we rescued when she was only about 2 weeks old in 2006! But she is no longer with us!

Hey, Tab! We've talked about your maremma, but this is my first time seeing one! Nice to put a snout to the name! Haha! What a beautiful dog! And I can tell he is going to fill out just like you said. I find that you can often tell by the size of the paws, and his look rather outsized to me! He'll be a big boy!

I love how bonded he is to Fargo! And I agree with Joe, you definitely have a way with animals. They must sense something really good in you.

Kyros is pathetic when it is feed time.. He neighs and whimpers and does the weirdest sounds ever, like he is copying me voice? It literally sounds like he is repeating what i am saying when i do a sweet little voice to him hahaha


Should have seen our great dane cross when she was a pup.. She had the biggest feet i have ever seen



Here is a fun little fact.. EXACTLY the same breed.. Purebred Maremma.. But from different breeding lines..


This was Solomon.. He had very dark eyes, and was alot finer, and never bulked up like most maremmas do!

Cypher is seriously twice the size in width already than what Sol was!!!

But they are both the best dogs we have ever had.. Very stubborn dogs, but very loyal to the person they bond to










Fargo never got to meet him though!

Ohhhhhhhh boy..



Lets add 'a kitten' to that list of Tab's animals

Mum just brought home 2 kittens.. She has wanted a super fluffy black one for a long time, so she got him..


and she couldn't resist getting this other kitten.. He is only 5 weeks old, super fluffy, but grey with a cool pattern.. and beautiful blue eyes..

He is half himalayan ?

We called him Casper.. Well mum did, i would of named him a stranger name


Mum said she knew i would like the little grey boy..



So he is now fast asleep on my lap, Fargo is very intrigued.. I won't allow them to play.. I trust Cypher, but i don't trust cats or any other dog with Fargo..

I have slight allergies to cats, so my face is very itchy at the moment, but he is worth it hahaha
