how do i go about getting my quaker dna'd
do local vets do it and also how do i find a vet that
will see my parrot
sorry i am kind of new to parrots

You can also order a kit from avianbiotech.com and send in the sample yourself. Either blood drops or feathers. Costs about 20-25 dollars. I used them (plucked feathers) got my answer pretty quickly too.
 
thanks for all the input i checked on the aviary vets but the closest is about 5 hours away
my vet claimd to have 3 of their vets can see parrots but do not claim to be
experts in birds what do you all think
 
I used a vet for years that wasn't avian certified, but would see birds. He did help my birds the 2 times I had problems, and everything was fine.
