Humidifer ok?

I have been having sore throats thanks to the dry winter air and needed a humidifier. I just bought a puregaurdian cool mist ultrasonic humidifier.

It's the small 12 hour one, and I will keep it on my night stand and turn it on when I sleep. My parrots night cage is right up against my bed next to my night stand. Does anyone know if this type of humidifier will be ok to use with him so close to it?

As long as you don't put anything harmful in the humidifier and it doesn't grow mold or bacteria, your parrot should also benefit from having it around!
