I Am Winning The Deal !

As most of you know, I have always wanted a sun conure. But my parants said " 2 parakeets are enough ." . After my mom heard about how you can get Honoroll for each trimester , she immediatly called me to her room and told me to get principles Honoroll which is get Honoroll all 3 trimesters. She said she would make a deal with me , if I got all three , I could get a baby sun from a local breeder. I accepted, I got Honoroll for the first , this week I just found out I got it for the second trimester too. One more and I win the deal ! My mom said not to get too cocky , but she knows that if I got it 2 times, I can get it 3 !
For those of you who don't know how it works, to get Honoroll you have to have an average go 90 or higher in math, science, social studies, and ELA . For trimesters , they school year is split into 3 section called trimesters. I got honor for first and second . I am already choosing the cage !

Thanks guys ! I have to plan in secret though, if my mom found out I would get a speech about overconfidence and everything . Though I am a tad bit nervous, what if I mess up on the last trimester ?

Birdlover, I'm not trying to talk you out of a sun, but they do scream.....sometimes a lot & the can be piercing.....if that will be a problem with your parents, you may want to consider a green cheek or a maroon-bellied conure.....both have lots of personality, but not nearly as much screaming.....

thanks weco, though I already did my research . I visited some , I didn't really mind the noise. They were flying and they were adults . One even screeched in my ear and I didn't mind. I even talked to my parants about it. Though I am not an average person, I had ear problems so everything naturally sounds lower.

AHHHH!!!! CONGRATS D and yea I didnt have ear problems before I got my two suns my hearing is now impaired in my right ear (thanks Sunset) my mom was NOT happy!

birdlover- :jumping40 congrats, only one more to go! you can do it! as long as you work hard, maybe your mom will let you get one either way? what grade are you in? if we are learning the same things, i could send you copies of my notes to help you out? keep it up

Just be persistent and don't give up, if you need any help see if someone will tutor you. And I agree on sun conures being loud, I personally could never have one because of I, I would take a macaw call any day.

Thanks guys for the support. I am in 6th. I am with Yasmin , their calls sound like nature, screeching, cruel nature LOL . I am having lots of stress on myself, I would NEVER forgive myself if one the LAST trimester I got an 89 . I'd LITERALLY pull my hair out. Aww, Ann , I don't need your notes though thanks for considering. My topics are a bit different. Like for science we are learning about WAVES . Yes, ocean waves , though it's a bit interesting. My dad is actually looking forward to a sun if I get one. We were at petsmart getting some Zupreem when they had a sun for sale. He was quite tame, my dad stuck his finger in and had the time of his life, the sun nibbled , perched, and used his finger as a preening post LOL.

One thing...over confidence can be a good thing.....military elite special operations soldiers, top professional musicians, top rated surgeons, top lawyers.....what do a lot if them secretly have in common??? They're all very confident.. almost cocky.....

There's nothing wrong with being confident in the fact that you can concentrate on your goals, and complete your objectives...don't count it as a win....yet...just know that you've already cone 2/3 or the way

Confidence is key to a lot in this world...its when people get discouraged....they start to lose that.. and falter...so....just remember..you CAN do this...its all up to you
