I can't belive she is gone (Not Lilo)

I am crying while I post this I know she is a cat and this is a Parrot forum but I don't have any other forums so hears what happened.... So I have had my cat Rosie for all my life! And she got sick a few days ago.... Then she went down hill fast so now she is gone I have been crying ever since. I was with her when she took her last breath. She purred till a she couldn't purr no more. She loved me so much and was trying to stay alive for me so she can continue to take care of me, but the rainbow bridge was calling... I will miss her so much! Every time I walked out side she would fallow me everywhere to any place! RE.I.P my best kitty!

Thank you everyone I will make a treasure chest for her, I put her collar on my stuffed tiger that I slept with every night as kid. I have a picture frame that says first kitty and spoiled rotten with a picture of her as a kitten lounging on the bed!

Thanks Selestine, I went to the animal shelter and found a cat that was just like he but with white face and paws. She ALSO had hypothyroidism! She was 11 just like Rosie and had green eyes like her! But she may have been a little too much like her... But there was something so familiar about that cat... I wanted her so bad because she looked at me like oh hey I have missed you! But I think I will try to keep the kitten I found, interesting time to find a kitten. Chi the kitten only likes me and is a stray, so we will be bringing him to the vet to get shots nurtured etc.

Any time a pet dies no matter what they are, is a sad time! If you love and care about a pet then it doesn't matter how big or small they are or what kind of animal. I am soo sorry for your loss, I hate the feeling of loss and heartache, but your baby is in a great place that is pain free and she will always be around in your heart and memory where she will live on! Remember all the positive times and not when she was sick. I know it is hard to deal with loneliness after companionship of a pet but like I said she isn't truly gone she will always exist in the heart and mind stay strong

I want to go out and get him a collar but he ran away! We were cleaning the cage and off he went My grandma really wants to go to the animal shelter with me and get me a cat But my dad... Maybe someday, I love all the cats at the shelter

That's not uncommon with strays who are used to being outside. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he'll come back.

Honestly (and everyone is different ) I've always needed some time after losing a pet before I was ready to bring another one into my life.. it just seemed like providence that someone else was right there looking for a home..

Things will work out however they will work out, I suppose. I hope you aren't feeling too sad after kitty ran away

Maybe he is waiting to come back because I couldn't get another cat for a while. At Christmas I will find her stocking With no presents for her And seeing her grave...

The pets put on fancy necklaces today and paid their respects. I got some little angels breath flowers to put on the grave. So one by one I would take a pet out with their little flowers and I would set the flowers down and have a moment of silence. It was so great because it was a cool foggy morning with all the birds singing

Sorry late late reply, but Tangie, I am so sorry your dog passed away. I still cry about Rosie, it is the worst to loose your best fried. She was not a pet, she was family. It hurts to think that just maybe they will come tromping up to you with that smile like they just love you so much! Days afterwards, I thought I heard meows or faint purring and I expected to see her but only to be reminded that she is gone. I'm sorry about sky, that is terrible.
