I got a deer.

Someone from Craigslist gave me a tagged whitetail. Thankfully he gutted it. I made my sister deal with the head. My sister and I skinned and
processed it on the kitchen table. Took 4 hours. Went to bed at 3 am. Still need to clean and freeze it.

Pictured is about 2/3 of the meat. I'm gonna try to remember to weight it later.

Never processed a deer before.

Check that you have five on each hand! A late night processing with sharp knives can result in the loss of one or two!

Sailboat funny you should mention that. At one point last night uum I mean this morning I had the knife turned the wrong way and started cutting my left index finger.

It's a minor wound so no worries.

That's awesome. My brothers and I got 3 deer this year, ended up with almost 200lbs of meat in the freezer! LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to eat venison!
