i am very happy to part of this forum,i have two hyacinth macaws, and i wish to adopt my female.there is a little about her below, but we could talk more and share pictures when you get to me.
:blue::blue:my girl is the most intelligent big and beautiful parrot i have ever seen.she is very healthy, house broken, tame and lovely.she has never bitten anyone in her entire life.she has shown me love beyond limits, and she is ready to do same for her new family.she loves being around other pets, and she's got a soft spot for kids.she comes with her cage, playthings, and all her health papers.for a family which adores birds, she will bring love, laughter and happiness to your home.

wow. they are big boys those Hyacinths. my dealings with macaws have not been great. recently, where i volunteer. (Foster Parrots) i have met a Blue & Gold. over the 2 months i have been there, i talk to him, wave to him (he waves back) and give him treats. he let me give him a scratch this past Sat. i just gave him a little scratch on his back. i'm afraid to scratch his head. with his back, it gives me enough time to pull away if he goes to bite. i will take my time. i will eventually get there. good luck with your macaws.

Welcome Andy,

I am not looking for a new parrot in my life, but for any who are it would be helpful to know where you are located. Also, without prying too much, if you could say why you have to adopt her out it would be helpful.

thanks a million for your comment.it would help me a great deal.thank you also for welcoming me.i will make sure i update my profile.my email is andyplm@aol.com that is if you want to talk to me straight.i really do mind.thanks again. andy.

Wow I would love to have her but I'm a Canadian girl So I'll have to settle for the big guy I already have. I don't have a Hy but I do have a very large Harlequin that I rescued a while ago he was slowly being starved to death. Poor baby but he's in pretty good shape now and I love him to pieces although sometime I think I need to take out shares in a lumber yard because of the amount of wood he likes to chew. I guess there is alway one consalation I'll never be short a toothpick if I ever need one. LOL Welcome to the forum

I :smile015: Hys!

If I had the time & space (and if I could keep him/her in supply of the nuts that are part of their natural diets) I would have one of these guys in a heartbeat!! Maybe one of these days ...

I have just bought my first macaw, a Blue and Gold. I have other pets and grandchildren in the house so my life has never been lonely. I have always had contentment, peace, excitement and love but now I have true happiness. No matter where I go or what I am doing I am thinking of my12 year old B&G Macaw and watching my watch counting down time to get back to him. My heart is seeking a Hyacinth Macaw ever since I saw one on this forum. Please send a picture. If I can't afford to buy one I can at least put your picture on as my wall paper. I pray you find the perfect home. Wish it was mine. Best of luck.
Eppie

 Cameron sure has a lot of homeless expensive pets don't they?

Yup, they sure do. This is looking more and more suspicious every moment. Buyer beware!

I looked up the email address and IPs that he has been using and nothing suspicious comes up; but the hesitation to put up pictures and to say where he was located raises suspicions further.

Time for this thread to close.

I have been contacted by the original poster and I have decided to reopen this thread. This in no way means I can vouch for the legitimacy of the offer and as always users should be very careful in doing business with individuals encountered here.

However upon another search on both the email address and IP address I have found no reports of problems or scams. Most scams and cons are well documented, at least once they have been used a few times.

Investigation concluded - guilty as charged:

Andyplm@aol.com aka Andy Palmer, AKA Anderson is apparently is selling this parrot from Cameroon, Houston TX, Michigan, and Arlington VA all at the same time.

Some people do have more than one home - but if he has three homes in America I'd expect his English to be better.

You are the weakest link - Goodbye.

Note: this thread will remain as it is useful to have such scams documented on the web so when moderators from other forums do a google search they can see that the attempt has been made here as well. Do not email this individual if you value your money or identity.
