Miligold Macaw

OK... I am trying really hard, honestly, to not look at craigslist, but this one has been up for awhile now and I am curious to what this is a mix of.

P.S. I have not e mailed them although I am tempted. :)

Well its a pretty fella.

Very pretty in color :)

Also... I e mailed them. Darnit. I just wanted to see what they are asking for a re-homing fee.

I did the same thing. I told myself I would stay away from add places like craigslist, kijiji, and oodle but I looked last night and found a post for a baby golden conure. Im tempted to email......

miligolds are beautiful :)

I personally love Craigslist for birds.

I bought my Conure and Quaker there both for under $60.00 with their cages. It's a great place to find breeders because it's mostly people getting rid of birds because they bit, nip, or lay eggs.

My boyfriend has always wanted a macaw, so we'll see what comes of this. I am a stay at home mom, so we have the time. Oh brother. What am I saying. lol!

I thanks Craigslist every day for bringing my little Senegal Tiki into our lives. Yes, I know Craigslist is notorious for bird flippers, irresponsible pet owners dumping their pets off. But there are also some opportunities to unite a mistreated, neglected or even a well loved pet to a welcoming family. If it weren't for Craigslist, there would be a lot more pets in shelters.

I also have to agree, it is a bit heart breaking at times reading through the classifieds at how little pets mean to so people.

Haha, just a little obvious that it is military and B&G XD sorry just had to say that :D

Maybe obvious to you, but it wasn't to me. There are so many different "new" macaws...

Not everyone knows hybrids, heck I looked it up. I wouldn't say it's obvious.

Also, most of the ads ARE sales. But once in a while you get a good hit! Have you tried a wanted ad? Most people don't post them up, but respond to wanted ads. It helps if you put a bit about how you treat your birds or photos.

Want adds almost always get flagged on craigslist, no matter what you say. I used to go on their pet forum once in awhile. Very nasty people on there. I am not actively looking, just come across some adds once in awhile that I feel are worth checking into.

Really? Our pet forum is super active and the one wanted ad I posted never got flagged. Kijiji also allows them, no flaggers there :)

Craigslist brought me and Bitty together. I thank God every day I have the little brat heheh.

I heard there was a mix of a catalina macaw (another hybrid) and a miligold, but I have yet to know the name, but that would be an awesome mix! 4 species of macaw!
