1 nanday conure Black Jack, 1 Brotogeris parakeet Whiff, 1 ring neck dove Eliza, and 6 society finches (3 are tame). RIP my parent pairs of societies and my little gouldian finches
Today my lady gouldian finch, beeper, died. I had been treating him for air sac mites, and just when I thought he was getting better he died. I had only had him for two months but I loved him so much, him and his sister were the youngest of my flock. I saw him this morning and I could tell I wouldn't have him for much longer, but I had to go school. As soom as I saw him I knew. I had him in a little hospital cage, he was all tucked in the corner but it looked like he died in peace. He will be missed.

Awwww no. :( I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

thank you all, i find comfort in knowing that i did my best, and i love this forum your all so friendly its allot easier to share things like this here because everyone here understands that birds are more than just pets, they're our feathered friends/ family, thank you very much.

It's true people here all understand just how important a bird is to your life. Although when my BCC passed away I hadn't joined this forum yet. I posted it on my motorcycle forum because I felt I had to tell someone. And I couldn't physically speak about it to talk to my friends on the phone due to all my crying. But, because they had known me a few years and knew what she meant to me, I did get quite a bit of sympathy from people who wouldn't normally care about a bird.

I am so sorry about your loss :(

So sorry for you. You did the best you could. Birds are very fragile creatures. And only another bird person can really know how these wonderful beings can touch our souls.

I'm very sorry for you loss. Big hugs to you!
