If I am sick, can I get my conure sick ?

Or are illnesses species specific.

I ask because I have a cold, been coughing a lot, sneezing and fever at night... It really sucks...

But I am afraid of getting my baby in trouble...

If it's simply a common cold, then no, your conure can't get sick from you. However, it would still be wise to keep your hands and face clean, no kisses, no sharing of food, etc. Although parrots can't catch a cold, they can still get sick from our bacteria.
