So. Yes i know burning incense is really bad AROUND your bird, however My bird don't sleep in my bedroom, i keep him in my bedroom during the day and then he sleeps in the living room, our house is 2 floors, Livingroom downstairs, and bedroom upstairs.

I am wondering if it's still harmful if i burn incense in the evening (after my bird "goes to bed" (usually around 9-10pm) and i burn it after that time) as in bird goes to sleep, i burn incense in the evening/night, wake up around 8-9am, that's like 11-12 hours after i've then burned incense, is it still harmful? or should i open a window and air out the room before i fetch my bird?

I'd air out the room well before bringing the bird in. It may not harm him but you don't want to take chances. If he died from it you'd never forgive yourself.
yeah, i have those small cloud shaped incense pellets that burn for maybe only 15 min, and they don't produce a long lasting lingering smell, it's a wood based incense rather than oil based, it's not like i burn incense all day long either, i know it's dangerous for the bird to be in the room while it burns, it's why i wanted to know a bit more if it's still dangerous after 11-12 hours after a burn

It's primarily a combination of a birds respiratory system and the micro particles released with incense, candles, oils, cigarettes etc. The brand also matters because of the 'base fillers' used. Some are worse then others. It's best to not do it. I ❤️ inscense, oils and candles. So, I now substitute a few drops of essential oil on a cotton ball. This is positioned so I can smell it.

If I burn incense, I burn it close to a window and make sure my air purifier is going. If I'm really paranoid, I keep a fan on in the room, blowing the smoke away from the bird area. SO far, so good on my end of the universe!

Why do you want to burn Incense? I used to burn it in my room as a teenager decades ago to mask other smells I didn't want my parents to smell but not since then. Wouldn't an essential oil on a cotton ball be enough scent?
