It is an awakening to be old enough to have a Grandchild..I had my son when I was VERY young, and he was 19 when his son was born..which made me a Grandma for the first time at 33. I was like...what?!?!
Congrats on your new niece or nephew to be!

I was actually 35 when Sarah was born. So I was two years older than that when I became a parent. (I had a happy childhood, so I decided to extend it indefinitely...)

I had actually never even HELD a baby until mine was born. (They were expensive, seemed fragile, and they leaked at both ends.) AFTER she was born, I found out I was actually pretty good with kids... until then, I didn't give myself much credit, and avoided it! YIKES!

This is baby Keegan at one day old. He is one week old today. And the hospital gave him a cute little hat too but it was a little big for him.

I hardly let anyone else hold him when I was there. We are all obsessed with him because there hasn't been a baby in the family in 20 years.

Patty, he is GORGEOUS! No wonder y'all are obsessed with that precious little guy Keegan is an awesome name!
