Misha - Yellowsided GCC
Guapo - Cinnamon GCC
Nimbus - Alexandrine
Brought her home yesterday and she is gorgeous.
Hasn't made a peep yet but is guzzling vegies down! She's clipped and I didn't notice til today but her wings have been butchered, she just drops so not too happy about that, but she is otherwise perfect!

No idea why it uploaded sideways, stupid phone

She's adorable... I love alexandrines.. They have such gentle personalities... She looks very young... How old is she?

Breeder said she is 14 weeks, she's a bit clumsy with her giant feet and a bit sleepy, she weighs 207g if that's a better indicator? Eats anything I put in front of her and is scared of nothing! Huge difference from my conures

I didn't weigh Max, so I don't really know... I handfed Max from 6 weeks, and he basically weaned as soon as he fledged...

Is Nimbus flighted?

She's not flighted =( ALL wing feathers have been clipped its ridiculous, didn't notice til yesterday when she fell, too busy thinking how pretty she was!
Have taught her step up, down and shake hands, she's so clever ^.^

I really don't like it, when breeders clip their babies' feathers until they are confident in flying... I don't think it's enough that a bird has just learned to fly, they need to fly for quite a while to gain the confidence they only acquire by flying...

End rant...

My alexandrine, Max, will sit on my armrest of my recliner and hold my hand (with his foot)... it's so cute...

She's still really quiet and it's making me paranoid. She's been all cosy and fluffed up this morning, it's a bit cold. Just putting it all down to settling in, only had her for two days.
Made a sturdy t stand for her yesterday, way better than my first attempt!
