Ive had my ringneck 8 months old for a month now very tame and as he is in a very large cage was thinking about adding a second ringneck in the cage what you guys think ?

Not a very wise idea!!!! You should always practice quarantine first then place a second cage for the new bird near by so they can get acquainted with one another then see if they get along or not. But you always take the risk of them fighting when your not watching!

or would it be wise like you said mikey just to get a second cage saves a lot of problems?

Yes, better to have two cages.. that way, even if they become friends, they have their own place and they can be separated when you are not there to watch them.

another question my irn nails are getting sharp (large) ive never cut them before ? how far do i cut i see inside nail a red line then it stops and a slight clear bit is that how far i cut? if u understand what im saying lol

If you've never done it before, take him to an avian vet or a petstore that specializes in birds and have them show you how to do it. Once you feel comfortable doing it yourself, please make sure you have some clotting powder (the name escapes me at the moment) in case you cut too far back... it can be hard to clip nails, even when you're experienced at it, so please don't do it until you've been shown by someone who knows what they are doing.
