Is natural sisal rope okay for birds

Hi I was thinking of putting a rope in my bird room with toys hanging on it . What kind of rope should I get? Is sisal rope good ?

I looked into it awhile back. During a brief interest in making toys, swings etc. The material itself may have been safe. The problem is with the additves used to make product easy to manufacture and use. From a hardware stores and the like the additives are high for waterproofing, decreasing friction etc. Hobby Lobby had the lowest amount with around 5% additve that was oil based. So I opted out of buying. If anyone has a safe seller I am interested.
