This rosy faced lovebird chick hatched just two days ago. He gets fed extremely well by his parents and is warm 24/7. He's very active and rolls around when mom goes to get some water. I am a little worried about him though, 'cause his belly seems to be a little bloated and a little dark at the bottom. Is this normal?

He looks normal to me. Is he eating and pooping? If so, he's probably fine.
Their skin is so thin you can often see through it at the contents of their gut. The dark stuff you're seeing is probably food traveling through. Their abdomens are normally very plump and round so I wouldn't worry.

He's still alive and moving after 2-3 days, so I'm pretty sure he's fine. I see the occasional poop when the mom goes to get some food. He's also being fed by her every few hours and does still bop his head up and down. I don't think I've ever seen him with a completely empty crop though, should I be worried about that? He has grown a lot so I'm guessing his crop is not impacted if he's still growing at a rapid rate?

Parent birds don't wait for crops to empty to feed their babies. They feed in response to their begging so don't worry. As long as they're eating and pooping they're probably fine. Birds make amazing parents most of the time.
If his crop was impacted he wouldn't eat, poop, and grow.

Ah, thank you for clearing that up. I'll make sure to let the parents do their job and leave him alone for now! 🫶
