Me, too! I just lost a budgie to a prolapsed cloaca. She was acting fine, but her vent looked very similar, except it happened to her trying to pass an egg. We rushed her to vet, but, she died 4 days later. Things like this are not to be fooled with. Hope this bird is okay!

OMG I am so so sorry! I thought my SO had updated everyone! Reptar is doing fine and was given a clean bill of health. It was said that it could have been a prolapse but because it corrects itself there is nothing to do really.

Lately she very rarely has the issue and it seems to go away after a few hours or so.

Again, I am so sorry you did not get an update. I have depended on this forum for all my bird knowledge needs and you have always delivered so I am feeling rather terrible for the non communication.
