Is Rosewater safe to spray around birds? It is an aromatherapy mist, body splash from European roses. The spray is free of Alcohol, pa ravens, sulfates and phthalates. The ingredients are Purified water and Hydroessential rose (rose damascene) . This is a gift. Thank you for your input!

I have this brand- I think it’s great.
It’s the only scented thing I use, and the only scent I can tolerate . I personally don’t spray it on or directly around my birdies but that’s just me being paranoid, I do think it’s pretty safe — I am really ocd about not letting perfumes or sprays into the home — this is my one exception. I use it as a fragrance when I go out, and occasionally on my clothes or to freshen up a room.

As long as your birds don't actually inhale the spray it should be fine. I wouldn't want to directly inhale any sprayed scent because it could irritate my lungs. The lingering scent after spraying is fine.

I use similar. No problems. I spray in another room to avoid air droplets.
