hello!
my girl mango is going to be turning 8 soon, and so far none of my birds have been sick!!
however, recently i have noticed that mango is the only bird in my flock that has this going on with her tail.
does anyone think this is tail bobbing? do i need to go to the vet?

I looked up tail bobbing as a indicator of respiratory distress and saw a video by an avian specialist treating a sick budgie and the tail Bob he pointed out was much more distinct than what I see in your video. Up and down more than a little twitch. However I'd get him checked out to be sure. I hope Mango is okay. Early treatment, if she is sick, could save her life.

absolutely, thank you :)

He had it when he came to me, and it was noted by the vet who said he probably had some scarring, but enjoyed a very luxurious life nonetheless. He did pass away in the end, although I don't think it was from the tail bobbing.

i’m so sorry to hear that..i’m glad he had a wonderful life with you :)

Looks okay to me. If it gets more pronounced, I'd call a vet. The tail bobs on a sick bird get more defined, a distinct up and down movement.

Birds use their tail to balance. Doesnt look like bobbing to me.
