Itchy Quaker

Hi all,

My Quaker sometimes grabs her face with her foot and squeezes her cheek. As you can imagine, this is adorable to watch! But I’m curious as to if anyone’s little bean has done this or if anyone knows the reason? She is molting so the only thing I can think is maybe she’s trying to fluff some feathers out or just itching.

My Quaker does this often, and when he does it means ‘Pet me!’ Though your Quaker may be doing it because it feels good too.

Yes, this is exactly what she does! It's usually in her cage. I'll be sure to offer scritches when I see it.
