I get kind of envious of all of you that have birds that love their veggies. Mine might eat some once in a while, but no matter that they get them every day and a nice variety the only one that eats veggies regularly is the Senegal. At least I got Tootsie off of her seed addiction. Small victory, at least.
If I may make a suggestion, take out that wooden dowel in Ben's home and replace it with some natural branch perches. Those dowels can be murder on a bird's feet over time.

Agreed with the comment above, if you get a variety of perches (some natural wood, concrete for nail trimming, soft rope perches) he may appreciate that,, as well as a swing or ladder and more toys. Glad he's taking to the veggies!!
