It's Rascal's 4th birthday today!! :)

When I was at the vet today I realized it is Rascal's birthday today LOL

Last year I forgot his birthday (OMG it's been another entire year already??? Not good!!!!). He turned 4 years old today. :smile054:

... he had better start eating more greens and sprouts so he's around for many more!

Happy Hatchday to Rascal. Baby will be 14 in October. I wish I'd started feeding veggies when he was younger. Sometimes he'll tongue grated carrots but that's about it. He likes dried more I think.

I wish the breeder had started feeding him veggies, kale and sprouts when he just finished weaning him... he didn't wean him until Coconut was over 3 months old though and he had no other birds around to show him he should be eating greens. I think maybe by then poor eating habits locked in... I don't know. Not giving up yet though... I am determined to get them eating sprouts!!

I will bake Rascal a coconut flavored honey stick tomorrow as a belated hatch day present (I do put a little of Harrison bird bread mix into it). They smell really gooood
