Jackie Update :)

It's been a month since we brought Jackie home, but we've been making great progress.
She seems to be getting less possessive of her food dishes and cage, she lets me scratch her head if I ask to, and she takes treats from my fingers without biting. When she's on her stand she steps up and down with no problems, and the other day as she sat on her cage door she tasted my finger a few times without biting (kind of nerve wracking but I did it anyways).
She seems to tolerate my husband, but prefers me and the baby, and HATES my mother in law with an Amazonian passion lol
It's amazing to see her personality unfold and to see her building a bond with me. She's only flown to me once, but that was enough to know she wants to be with me.

I guess I should be saying "he" instead of "she" since the little mating dance Jackie's been doing is making me question his/her gender lol

Things with Jackie are coming along nicely... He lets me give him head and neck massages, let's me pet his back when I'm holding him, and loves to spend time on his perch stand. I can also change his food dishes without him lunging at my fingers!
He's also started to actually play with his toys!!
