One thing. You might want to remove the clapper from the bell on the toy. Many people don't realize it, but a number of birds have died after biting the clapper off and attempting to swallow it. (A shame, I know. They so enjoy ringing those bells.)

Thanks for the tip about the bells. I watch the clackers to make sure they're not wearing down. Hes only been able to remove 2 so far but these ones are a bit tougher.

Please, PLEASE don't give Jasper those kind of bells. They pose a SERIOUS risk to our fids. Too many accidents have happened, and many birds have died because they were able to not only get the clackers off, but some have accidentally ingested some of the metal, unbeknown to their parronts. Additionally, once the clacker has been cracked or broken off, there are often very sharp edges left where the clacker was attached, and fids can either get their beaks stuck, or their tongues cut.

If Jasper likes bells, there are MUCH safer options out there.

I hope he's ok then from the two he was able to remove. They were cheaper bells too so it doesn't surprise me. Actually the two were on the boings I bought for him :S
