Another fun moment was when we paused the movie and got up to make popcorn, and disappeared into the kitchen, temporarily leaving Juliette in her palace between the two comfy chairs in the living room. About four minutes into the popcorn making, Juliette started contact calling from the living room. "Hey! You left me in here all by myself!! Hey!!" My mother immediately ran in and started having a full conversation with her.

My newest budgie Cora likes to sit on a small caged fan in our bedroom and on top of the HEPA filter where the air outflow is. I think she likes the cool breeze blowing on her vent. It's running on low but she can't get near the blades.

She spent the evening commenting and zooming back and forth on one of her ladders. I'm so glad she has a hearty appetite. The breeders said she probably wouldn't eat for 36 hours due to the change in environment and could be expected to lose 5 grams. Well, she ate all day. She ate breakfast until dinner was served. Then she ate several dinners. I suspect she's dreaming about breakfast right now.
