I dont really like the way the threads are arranged. I prefer the origenal post to be at the top with replies to extend below. everytime i look at a thread, i have to scroll through all the posts before getting to the origenal message. is there a way you can invert this?

If I'm understanding you correctly, you can try to change that within your options by going into your User CP and then Edit Options. Then look under Thread Display Options for Thread Display Mode.
