Life has gotten crazy with my salon business taking off , the girls and everything .
Albie and Nova are both doing great although nova is not interested in the slightest about any form of training so I'm not pushing her . We have discovered she absolutely loves card and wood chew toys (the ones with big blocks of card and then and thin slice of wood between them) I never realised she could bite so hard until I saw the wood damage as she has never bitten us. She is extremely hormonal though and is in love with mr stitch
he doesn't need to do anything and she's going off . She will be 2 in September!
Albie is great , she's 5 and a half now, can you believe it ? It's like she's always been here. She's still her sweet adorable self with her moody sassy moments that result in blood because I haven't read her little mind of what she actually wants. She loves doing her tricks and she's recently tried saying something we can't make out just yet.
We got back from Tenerife on Saturday and it was fabulous, if you get a chance to go , absolutely make the trip to Loro Parque, we went twice !. They have 3 massive walk through parrot aviaries including a tree top one . There's an Australasia one with budgies , grass parakeets , tiels and a few others , it's was nice and calm . The tree top one had eccies , toos , lorries and lorrikeets , again pretty chill and calm (except I was triggering one of the lorries into screaming with me
)
And then the last one was ....Amazonia .....aka he conure coup . That was not quiet or chill or calm . So many conures
Gcc, crimson bellies, suns, Jen days, nandays, peach fronts etc and the GCC were so funny, they were doing fly bys of us to try and get a reaction and when we weren't reacting they flew closer and closer while screaming at us. They were annoyed were weren't ducking and screaming too
