Pinky just fell from her perch and landed dead on the floor of her cage.
She was acting perfectly normal yesterday.
She had a way of asking to come out of her cage and yesterday I let her out. She was walking around and looking outside just as normal as can be. Not the slightest hint something/anything wrong.

I got Pinky and her sister Lady at a yard sale.
I only had Lady for a few weeks before she developed neurological problems and with the recommendation of the vet had to put her so sleep.

Pinky had problems to but they were only cosmetic . Her toes were slightly deformed but nothing that would interfere with getting around.

I honestly cant remember how long ago I got them, maybe 10 years or so.
Pinky grew to like and trust me over time, I never pushed it.

So sorry....Can you imagine the life Pinky would have had if you hadn't gone to that garage sale? I can't even fathom selling a bird like that. Thank God you found them and not someone else. I know the fact that you gave Pinky a good life doesn't make it any easier, but it is something to keep in mind as you mourn...So sorry for your loss...:(

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my OWA 9 weeks ago. I am still devestated but I am hanging on to the fact that he was happy in his home from 4 months(his age when I got him, to the time he passed (aged 16 yrs old) Pinky also had a wonderful home with you. Take care.

I am sorry to hear about your OWA.
I know it takes time to heal. My OWA passed in 2015 and I still miss him.
