Just some questions about Cockatiels...

I woke up this morning to the sound of her singing! She was making louder, more whistling noises for like 5 minutes ... good sign?

Hello...so how long am I supposed to isolate her in her cage? I tried to pick her up yesterday but the sound that she made when Mikey called "a baby screaming for food" or something, and she never whistles when I hold her...

I took this video of her to show you. She gets around her cage well, plays with toys, drinks, eats, etc. and she will whistle like that in her cage, and when I walk up to the cage she flies to the door waiting for me to open it, and when I do she will eagerly hop on my hand and climb up on my shoulder and then start screeching and annoying me...why? All of this is in the video to show you what she does...

I don't hear whistling, I hear chirping.


I'm wondering if she needs just some comfort, after all, she probably went from a place she was familiar with, and around other birds to a scary new place, all alone, and the only one she knows where to find comfort in is from you?
