kaleb eating a lot

So my 3 month old green cheek conure is eating a lot. He has been eating for an hour and a half now. He goes to his fresh fruit and then back to his regular bird food. is this bad? I feel like he is over eating but i don't know if i should take his food away.

just put less in, or hide it around his cage! make him burn them calories, so to speak

slip fruit/veg into his toys (would mean they need washing at end of the night) etc

when nut is cage bound i always put more in as she just needs to eat as something to do, between destroying toys!
