Cockatiel- Kalypso
I tool Kalypso to the vet for her yearly wellness exam. She had a great report and was very healthy. Dr. Kitty Remington said that Kalypso is a girl :yellow1:. This isnt a DNA test but in her professional opinion. I have no reason not to believe her as she is a renound avian vet. Anyways, there was one issue. Kalypso had a short seizure. It was about 10-15 seconds. I about died inside when it happened. The vet believes its due to stress as it was after the toweling and nail trimming. Kalypso is okay. It scared me to death, when it happened my heart dropped.

Logan, I'm so glad that Kalypso is okay! I have heard of that happening to some birds. As long as she's okay now :). I don't remember, were you calling her a 'she' before? Or were you surprised?

I'm glad Kalypso is all right and quickly recovered from her seizure, that must have been terrifying. I've never seen a bird have a seizure, but I don't think it's uncommon. It sounds like Kalypso is very healthy, hopefully the seizure will never be repeated.
