I've tried many products out there in attempts to stop my Patagonian from plucking with no luck....has anybody had any success with kings pluck no more?
From little to big - currently 6 Linnies; 2 Budgies; 1 BHP; 2 CAGs; 2 Zons; 1 GWM. Formerly in the flock: 1 LSC2 [fostered/rehomed] RIP: 1 budgie 1 WCP & 1 sweet Pan Am
Same here . . . no doubt a different bird store owner. This one said it'll work in 60 days or it won't work at all. [So you need to figure if you want to put out the money for 60 days' worth of the treatment, which may or may not work.]
I tried it on our macaw, but didn't see a difference. But if I had another plucker, I'd try it again for 60 days, just in case.
First off, why is your patagonian plucking? If medical or behavioral, the Pluck No More may not make a difference.
I've heard that it does work, and by others that it doesn't. I've never tried it... but Pluck No More is mainly for birds plucking due to stress and/or dry/itchy skin. It may not help birds who pluck for other reasons.
I've also heard of people using Avicalm by Avitech along with Featheriffic. Again, it may, or may not work.
Pluck no more isnworking great we usually her him plucking in middle of night with painful squawks haven't head that since starting to use it I, very hopeful but man that stuff is outrageous in price
