Kiwi stepped up today!!! So happy!!!!

Took Kiwi on her step up stick and laid it on the counter. She looked a bit uneasy and so I offered her my arm, and she stepped up, NO BITES! It was amazing. She seemed so proud to show me what she's capable of. She also stepped up for my boyfriend just as well. I just wanted to share this with all of you!

Thanks so much guys. I know she really loves getting attention from me, and she hated when I had Beako step right up, and she would need to be moved around with her step up stick. I've been singing a lot to her, and when its bedtime, she goes in her cage on her own, and I sing and talk to her. I've been working on getting her to trust me and love me back. My boyfriend says he really thinks she prefers me, and I can feel that she is attached to me It's the best feeling in the world. Although there may be some days she does bite when I get her to step up, yesterday was the most perfect step up I could have asked for. While she was on my arm I gave her positive feedback and she was so proud.

He's doing great! thanks for asking! He's been going on just about every errand I have to do lately and loves the car so much. I just have to say, "You wanna go with me?" and he's in his travel cage ready to go! He was singing along to the radio yesterday and was cracking me up! I managed to get a few seconds of video. Probably not the smartest thing I've ever done, filming while driving, but it was too cute not to try to get a record of.

Way to go! I'm jealous! I'm moving MUCH slower with my parrots. . . . . but I love 'em anyway. Secret has issues and despite how much that parrot wants to be with me (flies off the cage at me if I sing out "who wants to go first") - still hisses and pins the eyes. Hasn't bit lately. I still think that parrot has a love/hate thing for me.

On a good note - MC has stepped up on my hand a few times now (had only stepped on my arm before - making progress toward the hand). Offered to ladder - but that's not happening.
