So, I posted awhile back about my feathered friend and at that point I did not have a name. Finally decided on Chakora, but I call her Korra most of the time. :)
Korra's been growing like a weed! Fortunatly I've gotten enough pictures to satisfy myself.

(Hope no one minds me posting those...)

Anyway, I am going to be sending off for a DNA test soon. At the moment she is a she though.
We have a nice large cage for her to move into once she is old enough (although at the moment I had to take her brothers last minute so she's hanging with them when she's not with me.) I also purchased an aviator harness and she wears around the house.
Any suggestions on favorite toys/activities for me to get for her or do with her are quite welcome. Mostly I just wanted to share how big she's getting! :D

Korra is adorable! Those are some great pics as well:)
Please keep the pictures coming, I guarantee you that no one minds at all (except when we don't get enough pictures!)

Are you going to keep her name if she turns out to be a boy?

She's adorable, I love Caiques so much! Can't wait to see her fully feathered
You didn't happen to name her after Avatar ;)? Just in case, she might needs a few more friends named Asami, Mako, and Bolin :p

Yes. Her name will stay the same no matter what gender she is. Chakora is technically masculine anyway... ;)

Indeed, Korra's nickname is from Legend of Korra, I need to start calling her brothers Bolin and Mako. :p

Thanks for all the compliments on the photography, I'm just holding the camera though, Korra is doing all the work!

Wow...she is absolutely adorable! Wonderful photos, and please keep them coming. As others have said, we can't get enough photos on this forum.

Besides, Eliza and Henry tend to get annoyed when they don't see enough pictures. You wouldn't want to get them angry... ;)

As for recommended toys, Eliza and Henry say they highly recommend TV remotes with lots of buttons. At least, that seems to be the favored toy of choice around here these days. Also, anything they can push off a table that ends up hitting the floor with a resounding thud is a perennial favorite.

Seriously, I've found the real key is variety. Roughly around once a month, I rotate various cage toys between E & H's respective cages and play stands (plus, of course, I can't resist new toys every once in awhile...not to mention replacing the ones they eventually destroy!). The funny thing is that they're always a bit wary when I put them back into their cages and there's something "new" there (even though it may be a toy or ladder that's been around here for months!). But it doesn't take too long before I hear a lot of crashing around as E&H start playing/wrecking their "new" toys.

Thanks again for the wonderful photos, and I love the name too!

Thanks for all the great advice! I am an avid DIYer, so I plan on making a ton of toys for her so I can rotate. Of course, she also enjoys chewing on the laptop keyboard, when she can get away with it!
I have lots and lots (I think it was over 100 in 3 weeks) of pictures. And I try to take at least one everyday, just because. :)

Terrific pictures!. The forehead height in Pic 1 suggests boy to me, but he/she is beautiful nonetheless

Interesting, how accurate would you say that method is? (If you know.) I am looking into a DNA test here soon so I can know for sure.
Also, for those people interested in more pictures, I do have an instagram set up for her, (it was to share with friends, but is also a good platform for sharing here). If you don't have an instagram you can view the pictures here: http://iconosquare.com/korra_the_caique
