Lady Ashima - Beloved Beautiful Pigeon

I've not been around much lately since I've been busy with a stray cat, a feral pigeon with an injured foot and my own poorly pigeon 'Lady Ashima'.

I lost my most beautiful Lady Ashima today. :40:

I'm devastated. I had been nursing her for a little while which meant our bond was even stronger towards the end which makes the loss all the more painful.

She left behind 2 beautiful babies. Her mate flew the coop after I took her out when I noticed she was poorly.



I'm just so sad, she had such a wonderful temperament. So loving, and now she's gone...

Pigeons have such personality. I think alot of people just don't understand them for the characters they are.

I can't believe I'll never get to see her fly ever again, or have her let me preen her pretty head.

She will forever be missed...

It's just so terrible that the little pigeon family can't be together. It was only a few weeks ago that they were a perfect little family. I was so proud of them.

I've got to stop typing through my tears. I'll be back on the forum when I'm a bit more stable.

Sorry for my choppy typing. Im just so very tired and upset, but felt I had to write this down.

I'm so sorry you lost your sweet girl. Are the babies old enough they will be ok? It hits close to home as my son's favorite pigeon died this week.
