With a heavy heart I announce that we have lost our budgie today.

Leslie had a small accident a couple weeks ago that cost her half of her tail feathers and a sore foot. She has been acting fine lately minus a small limp and she took a turn for the worst while I was sleeping today (night shift). a portion of her foot had turned black and I was too late to get her to the vet.

I am sad.
