For those of you interested. So no news on Barry unfortunately. I still feel awful about being stupid enough to lose him. On top of that the boys at work were teasing me about my bad luck with the birds thinking it was hilarious. Obviously i didn't find it funny and was nearly in tears and had to get nasty before they realized they had taken it too far. Some people are so insensitive.
I have a new job. I start moving over the weekend and start work at the start of April. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere but oh well I don't get out much anyway. I am trying to get my racehorse sold before I leave but that's proving to be difficult. I have really fallen for the yellow napped Amazon I have mentioned before after multiple visits. Every time I go to see him I go there thinking maybe he isn't right for me and I should forget about him but especially after the latest visit I walked away feeling like there is no other bird for me. Problem being he isn't cheap and I'm relying on my horse selling to be able to buy him... No pressure. I can't stop thinking about max (burdy). When I last when to see him he was making thre cutest noises when I was giving him scratches.
I have been to meet some other bird species and while I really liked a few and have made some enquires I just can't seem to commit to anything else while Max is still a possibility.
Back to the new job. It's not exactly what I had in mind but it's a change. I will be changing codes from standardbreds to thoroughbreds. My partner got a job there and they offered me a job too so I thought why not.
