Long overdue flock intro (lots of pics!)

And, with a relieved sigh, I look back on the "rescue fiasco of 2014. Here is Ducky, the day we got him.

And here he is with Red (not a red bird at all, but the baby closest to the camera here) with his new family. We fought to save these babies, and saved most. We mourn the loss of the ones that did not make it, but we are pleased to know that they are in loving homes now, and that the man who originally bred them is getting the help he needs to stop the breeding and improve the life of the birds.

Red looks beyond great, how lucky he is now! What a #transformationtuesday!

How beautiful your flock is!

Thanks :) I just realized that my posts split onto two pages so so people might miss the other pics I posted this time, but I did finally post pics of the other budgies as well, and Mel andRanger and my birthday presents :)

I just have to ask the pink bird with the lighter pink on head I have never seen one before could you give me some info on owen
katina and skitz

I am sorry I do not know which of my birds you are referring to? None of my birds are pink. Some of my green cheeked conures have some red on them, but they all have dark grey heads. Are you sure you mean pink?

I loved the pictures :) especially the blue birds with red beaks as i had never seen those before

Wow, what a difference in Ducky! You literally worked miracles, and I have massive amounts of respect for you:)

Beautiful flock that you have! So I really love green cheeks, and pionus are awesome

Tequila, thank you, those are my Indian ringnecks :) scout is turquoise and blue is blue, but scouts color is still somewhat pale as he has not molted yet :)

Thank you terry, we feel so thrilled to see them so happy and healthy!

Copper, thanks! We are very find of them as well! We are being especially happy to get to know Mel, our bhp, as Sam and lady's prefer to know each other rather than us.

Dani, what a beautiful flock you have! All those GCCs, do you ever have a problem telling them apart? I can just imagine the shenanigans they get into, lol! All your birds look so happy and healthy:D!

I don't have a problem telling them apart because their personalities are so different! Also, there are key differences such as bands, level of tameness, etc if I were to get confused, and with only 7 I don't have any that would be confusing. For example I have 4 turquoise, but acu and sully are not tame and live together, so they are only confused with each other, and sully is missing a toe. Buddy and delta are turquoise, but delta is banded, tame, and lives wth baret, and buddy's is unbanded, only semi tame, lives alone, and is bigger, braver, and has brighter plumage than delta.
