Yesterday, he stuck his leg and he got stressed. After that, he slept and started to eat, which means this is a good sign if he eats. However, when I woke up, he still sleeps. My cousin vet recommended me to leave him alone to recover from stress ( i hope he's alright ). Is there anything I can do ? Or he is dying slowly ? :( Thanks everyone...

EDIT : I also noticed that he had laxity. I have some medicine and vitamins in bottle that I used before, so this might help, I hope.

UPDATE : He just took a little water and he got two bites of apple, which means there's still a hope for him.

take him to the vet, he might be in alot of pain, broken his leg?

We have one vet, but he is on vacation :( I'm out of options :\ I will try to get one that is 25 miles away from my village.

I just called a vet that is far away from me and he recommended me to leave him on place because if I put him into vehicle that he will be more stressed and because of that, he can die eventually. He suggested me to leave him alone to rest and put medicine and vitamins into water that vet gave me. I hope he will be allright... Thanks for suggestion. I will post updates about more important events.

awww i am so sorry for you, i do understand how hard vets/avian vets are to get hold of.

i hope its nothing more then a bruised leg an ego, and please keep us up dated

UPDATE : Here is a pic of him. He looks like he is some sort of coma. When I start to pet him, he responds, but doesn't want to open his eyes. He also breaths normally and he doesn't shake.

EDIT : Something's wrong with linking so I will post picture as a link : http://www.picpaste.com/11062011545-BgfbTk2S.jpg

UPDATE : Still not reacting. He is breathing normally, but eyes are still closed. How to feed him ? He doesn't want to take any food/water. :( Thanks again.

Can you take him to the vet? My vet is 1.5 hour away, its a pain but neccessary. I would try to give him water or sports drink w/a syringe. He is not improving from rest only getting worse. If you want to save him, he needs a vet.

to me he is in intense pain, i would avoid petting him, for the simple reason you may be putting pressure onto him that he does not need, and i have to agree with merlin, and hopefully the vet can give him some pain meds asap

Unfortunately, parrot showed his strength... But he didn't made it... Even if i'm sad because he's gone, I hope he is on better place, if he says that he is happy, I will be happy too. Rest In Peace, My Little Friend...

awww i am so sorry to read that, my thoughts are with you
