my cockatiel Num Num came across one of my daughters hair bands in the bathroom today.

seems to me he was proudly displaying it around his neck

then his mate came along and tried to help remove it....then I came along and removed it

....we have put them all away, so they cannot get into them again

That's really something! My tiel has been known to accidentally flip things over her head and around her neck too. Super cute when it happens and your bird is no exception!

Mine love hair elastics too. Elastics, straws, tissues, qtips.... and we buy them expensive toys when all they want is stuff from the bathroom!

Like they say pets take after there owners

he's such a goof ball, makes me laugh all the time. He was my very first born and raised cockatiel last summer
He just had his first clutch himself, and made a amazing devoted dad.
he is one of my favourites

Num Num is the cockatiel on the top right, and his dad, Dexter is the cockatiel just below on the right side of my pic.(both are total goofballs)
