Looking for Pionus breeder in Hawaii or a breeder who can ship to Hawaii safely

I have been searching for Pionus and just cannot find one in Hawaii. Does anyone have any information of reputable breeder who is in Hawaii or who can ship to Hawaii?

Thanks for the reply but, lucky me! I found one in local pet shop. This is the first time I found Pionus here in my area in my past 8 years of search!!
He came home with me 4 days ago and so far, he is just too good to be true perfect baby. He is quiet, gentle, funny and of course cute!

Wow, congrats! I know how IMPOSSIBLE it is to find birds in Hawaii. I mean, unless they are badly abused or preowned. Congratulations on finding your baby though, and I hope your baby is a dream come true!

I know! It's really really hard to find any birds in Hawaii, especially on the Big Island....
I actually looked for a rescued Pionus but no luck. I was so surprised when I found Poe, but now the pet sho I got Poe from have two more baby Blue Headed Pis! The manager of the store said he may even take one of them home since he really likes Pionus now.

Are getting a Hahn's ?? If so congratulations to you too! And I'm sure the bird is super Kawaii!

That is so funny that you live in the Big Island and have trouble finding parrots! That's actually where I'm buying my Hahn Macaw! I'm getting "it" from Sweet Leilani's Aviary! It's unfortunate we don't have a parrot breeder on Kauai, but I'm just glad I don't have to buy a baby on the mainland!

That's so sweet about your little Poe! Is Poe a baby or fully grown?
I'm sure Poe is super cute as well! That's interesting about the Blue Headed Pis too!

Funny about that, I was actually going to name my bird Kawaii because I live in Kauai… but then I realized that's like naming a bird Tecksas or Ohaiyo (alternate spelling of places). It doesn't really work. lol Have you named your Poe (or is that it's name?)

Poe was hatched in May 2011 so she is about 5 months old. Pionus is such an unique bird and she just keeps me interested daily. I named her Poe after Edgar Alan Poe.
